Default changing date format in Bibliography field

Hi! anyone can advise how to change date format in Bibliography field in Word? I urgently need it for my thesis. I am using BIBLIOGRAPHY \l 2057 but i need a date format Month D YYYY

Hi elly,

The BIBLIOGRAPHY \l switch changes the language format only; not the date format. There is no switch for changing the date format, which is specified by the citations Style being used. I use APA 6 and that outputs internet access dates in the Month D YYYY format.

Thanks for reply
unfortunately it does not work in my comp with APA 6 either - here i cannot even edit the field to change the language format and it stays as MM DD YYYY

Hi elly,

The date format in a bibliography entry is simple text. If you input numbers, that's all it will return. If you need a month name, therefore, you must input the name.
