![]() If you uninstalled the unwanted features via the "Add/Remove Programs" applet in the Windows Control Panel, then a repair won't reinstall them. If you removed them by some other means, a repair may reinstall them - so that you can uninstall them the correct way and not break anything...

It was not an uninstall, but a cleanup. I wanted strictly Word without any Office leftovers.
But this may be moot, because if it does not find Office Tools on the CD, it won't install it even after Repair. |
