Adding Office Tools to Word 2000 SR1a
I have Word 2000 SR1a installed on a XP64 system.
I noticed that the Spell Checking option is greyed out. After some investigation I found that Office Tools is not installed. I tried to add it from Office 2000 CD, but it won't let me because SR1a is a later version. I tried to add it with the SR1a install, but it does not allow me to install components, it just says I already have the version installed. I don't want to uninstall Sr1a, install from CD then reinstall SR1a, which has all sorts of fixes applied. Is there any way for me to fix this? Install Office Tools manually, use an external spell checker, anything that would work. |
