Arrows and text boxes disappear when changing view?
Hello, I am creating a document in MS word 2003. I created the document in print view so the width fits on a standard sheet of paper. On my document I had to add text boxes and arrows. When I switch views to normal view or when other users open the document the arrows and boxes disappear. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Most viewers will view the document in normal view. Thanks in advance. |

Objects whose text wrapping is set to something other than "In line with text" won't show up in Normal view.
For what it's worth, Normal view in Word 2007 and 2010, now called Draft view, is even less what-you-see-is-what-you-get.

I am guessing there is no way to set text wrapping to "in line with text" for arrows and text boxes?

You can in Word 2010, but they may still not show up in Draft view (possibly if you save in *.doc format). I don't remember if it was possible in Word 2002.
To find out, look in Format | Shape.
