This works whether using the mouse or Cntr C/v. However, I can still drag linked text within the document and linkage remains (for whatever that's worth). This may be something beyond Word because I can't copy/paste to another document or an email for example, as I had been able to.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Check your paste options in Word. You may have changed the default paste to text only.
