When I want to copy an array from an Excel worksheet to a table in MSWord, the appropriate paste command is "paste cells". However, by default, this option does not appear in in the paste menu until I hit "Paste" and then "Undo" (because "Paste" tries to stuff everything into one table cell by default...)
How can I make "Paste cells" a permanent option in the paste menu? |

Hi averagejoe,
Customizing Word 2007's ribbon isn't for the faint-hearted. It's far easier to customize the Quick Access Toolbar and add the 'Edit Paste Cells' command to that.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. It was complicated a bit by the fact that the command as listed in the "customize" list of all commands shows up as "paste table" rather than "paste cells". (It shows as "paste cells" in the Quick Access Toolbar, though...) Joe |
