![]() It seems you need a different field construnction, as the LISTNUM doesn't work from within an IF test. If the only concern is to re-start the list numbering when dropdown3 = 6, you can use a field construct like: {LISTNUM Change \s {IF{REF DropDown3} = "6." 1}} See attached.

Thanks. I guess what I am trying to accomplish isn't possible. I want "change 1:" to be hidden unless 6. Is chosen. That way when the document is printed there will not be empty labels (start, change1). If 6. Is not chosen the document will simply end there.

In that case, why not simply include the number as part of the paragraph's text?
