Viewing Options in Word 2007

You have several options

Hide the ribbon (Ctrl + F1 to show/hide). It will still show the icons when you click on a tab
Zoom in. Use the zoom control at the bottom right hand corner of the screen or hold down Ctrl and use the roller on your mouse.
View 2 pages at a time. View Tab >> 2 page view
Use Draft view. View Tab >> Draft
