Hi,
I use Word 2010 (64 bit) to write/read long manuscripts. Sometimes I receive manuscripts with weird symbols. Some I have been able to find descriptions online and use find and replace to get rid of them. But the crop circles that appear everywhere are a mystery I haven't been able to decode. ![]() Can someone tell me what the circles and the double circle on the image below are? And how can I do a document find and replace to remove them all? Thank you, T. ![]() |

These look like nonbreaking spaces. Words separated by a nonbreaking space will stay on the same line of text.
You can search for a nonbreaking space by specifying ^s in the "Find what" box of the Find and Replace dialog box (Ctrl+H).
