Greetings,
I am looking to customize my ToC for readability AND efficiency. As such, I'm unhappy with Word's defaults. I have changed the simple stuff like (a) adding extra levels (b) changing style fonts/colours/spacings (c) added pages #s to ToC.. This is what my ToC looks like afterwards (pic 1) My field code: {\H \Z \T "HEADING 1,2,HEADING 2,3,HEADING 3,4,TITLE,1" \N "1-1"} Now I have issues. 1) TOC1 and TOC4 should have NO page #s, TOC2/TOC3 should. 2) For some reason TOC3 (x.y. shows no leaders! but it should...) Can I manually control this part? What about the position of the page #s? 3) When I try changing the indent (pic2) for TOC4 beyond a certain point, I get the appearance of pic 3. What (another tab?) is causing the leader to switch? (because I see no other tabs on the ruler) Any help is much appreciated; it seems Word has done a pretty bad job at making the ToC customizable...
