![]() so i assume this is where you mean i'm suppost to be? sorry if i'm dumb but i couldn't figure out how to get a line like the one i edited into the picture could you help me out there? also how do you change the cell margins? |

If you want a vertical line that "cuts" through the paragraph you will have to set a bar tab. Display the vertical ruler if it isn't already showing. On the far left (just below the ribbon), click the tab/indent selector until it displays a vertical bar. Then click the horizontal ruler where you want your bar tab.
