I want to delete (remove) the page that only has a page header on it and nothing else. it is like a blank page.

OK. Usually "blank" pages contains empty paragraph marks (displays as ¶ symbols with nonprinting marks shown), which you can delete. For more on blank pages, see http://wordfaqs.mvps.org/BlankPage.htm.
