Hi there, new to this forum but not new to word, I've got Office 2007 installed on a laptop running Vista, the programs all work fine except Word, when I open a document, saved or new the program appears to work fine, when I try to position the cursor in the document using the mouse, I can't.

The slider controls on the right are not working either, It has been working fine up to this point. The last thing I did before the problem occured was a word count. Is it something I have changed on preferences or is it more serious. powerpoint and excel both work fine. Hope there is someone out there who can help. |

Can you give a bit more information? As to what hardware you are running? What operating system are you running? I remmeber having a similar issue with Windows XP and I changed the Mouse to 97 compatabilty mode but that was with a Lenovo Desktop.
