Paul,

As far as I can see, this is the same as the solution at the link I provided. That one uses the control panel. This one appears to run the same applet, but from the DOS box. Both require that I insert the XP installation diskette, which I cannot find.

My question was whether there is someplace where I can download the required file. The prompt indicates that it is looking for ftlx041e.dll. (See attached screen shot.) I have searched my hard disk and the file is not there. I see several non-Microsoft places for downloading the file. Are they safe? Why is it not available from Microsoft?
