I recently started having the same problems with Word 2007:
-Click to open a Word document and an empty word screen is displayed. -File-Open a Word document and it is displayed but is not editable -Close document "Word has stopped working" error occurs -Cannot scroll with mouse, only with arrow keys on document My problems also began immediately after Windows Update. After the auto restart I could not modify the open document. My Excel appears to be working fine also. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office, but no luck. Any ideas?
