small caps auto check

Using Word 2003 on Windows XP, the small caps check box under the Format/Font tab automatically checks. When unchecked, it rechecks automatically.

Hi Gene,

Have you tried repairing Word (Help|Detect & Repair)? Also, have you checked whether the Style definition for the range you're typing is has been formatted as small caps?
