I need to select all picture files and have them upload to the four main boxes. It will have to skip the boxes with the words in it.

Unless you can say what the error is, it's rather difficult for anyone to help. In any event, your first post suggests you need the captions row (even if you're going to use it for something else).

ahh okay I just got it to work, however it just created a table with the pictures imported into the first square into putting just the pictures into the already made table template from my picture

Well, the preamble does say:

Accordingly, you might be interested in the version found here: https://www.msofficeforums.com/148668-post5.html. That code allows you to create the table and insert the desired captions from a list in Excel, giving you complete control over both the order the images are inserted and the captions applied to them..

So, I deleted the table included in the template and let the macro create template and I have been able to replicate the correct size and placement. The next problem I face is having my mail merge text carry over to the caption part of the photos. Is this possible?

It really would have helped had you told us the problem concerns a mailmerge. Presumably, your mailmerge data source includes both the captions and the image names. In that case, done properly you may not even need a macro - it can probably all be handled by the mailmerge itself.

If you read the Managing Mailmerge Graphics topic in the Mailmerge Tips and Tricks 'Sticky' thread at the top of the Mail Merge forum:
https://www.msofficeforums.com/mail-...ps-tricks.html you will see that the image paths don't need to be stored in the mailmerge data source.
