This may be an obvious answer to more experienced Word users, but it's truly giving me quite the headache lately.
For the past five days (ever since updating with Windows 11 22H2 update), Word has been prompting me with Trust Center warnings that all macros are being blocked due to untrusted documents. Every effort I try has no effect in allowing macros for any document whatsoever. Sometimes it's a yellow notification, sometimes it's a pink notification. I've gone into Trust Center and added every possible Trusted Location for any document that I may use. I first thought it was because most of my documents are stored in Dropbox. I added the network path to Dropbox, and macros still aren't allowed. I then attemped to move the Dropbox files to a local folder that was also in the Trusted Location list. Macros aren't allowed. Trusted Documents are enabled. Macro Settings, Enable all macros and Trust access to the VBA project object model are selected. Protected View is disabled. I've tried deleting all macros and rewriting them. Is there any suggestion on what to do in order to allow macros to run again? I feel like it's some simple setting that I've missed, but I would have thought Enabling all macros would have solved the problem instantly. Oh, I also occasionally get this confusing box when trying to run a macro from the macro editor itself. As you can see, both options are identical and neither actually allows macros. Ugh. ![]() Last edited by devlon; 10-04-2022 at 11:01 AM. Reason: image add |
