Relative hyperlinks is not something Word does well. Have a look at the sticky post in the Word forum...
https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...nal-files.html If you want a macro to link to citations, upload a sample doc showing your representative input data and some text that needs to be searched.

Thanks for the response! I've attached a two sample documents. I've extracted all the citations into column B of the spreadsheet, along with the filename and file path in columns C and D.
I've highlighted the citations that need to be searched and replaced in Sample Citation Document. |
