I right clicked the template file this morning and printed without opening the file.
This is what I am aiming to do with the current residents files, select them all then print them with the dates auto updating. The fields where todays date should be were updated okay, but tomorrows date didn't update. I'm wondering is there something in whatever code todays date uses, can it be manipulated to add a day? I have read somewhere that adding +1 works, but on the 31st of the month it will show as 32? I can right click update field on the file i have, but I'm wondering if there is a way that can be made to auto update the same as todays date. Thanks |

I don't think any solution would work for printing without opening the file.
However you could create an automacro which runs as you open the file to update the dates, print and close. You might want the macro to pause long enough to ask the user how many copies to print.
