![]() I do a lot of editing in PC Word 2007, where I very frequently need to copy a selection and paste it elsewhere. Of course, there's a way to drag a selection to elsewhere, but that moves it and doesn't copy it. I have to use Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V. I'd like some guidance as to how to create a macro where I could select some text, hold down a key (or two) and drag the selection to copy it into another place, leaving the original text in place. I'm reasonably familiar with VBA, so I can code it myself, but I'm not sure which terms are needed to carry out the action. Thanks in advance for any hints. |

Hold the CTRL key while you drag and drop and the text is copied to the new location rather than moved.
