Since you haven't posted any code, it's impossible for anyone here to tell what the issue is. That said, see:
Split Merged Output to Separate Documents; and, better still
Send Mailmerge Output to Individual Files,
in the Mailmerge Tips and Tricks 'Sticky' thread at the top of the mailmerge forum:
