I found that the "slow opening/closing/asking to save"-problem can be solved by inserting the video as Object with a chain to the file !
Still I have a problem IF the mainfolder with the video files in a subfolder is moved, BUT ... I can't find out to see the path&filename to the chained file  Can the PATH to the chained file be manipulated by VBA ?
