![]() You shouldn't need to use PtrSafe unless you installed the 64 bit version of Office 2010 and frankly if you did so you would be better uninstalling it and installing the 32 bit version. Microsoft Windows Common Controls-2 6.0 (SP6) is provided by C:\Windows\SysWOW64\MSCOMCTL.OCX It is no longer included with Windows 10, but you can download and install the missing file. It is not compatible with the 64 bit version of Office.

If you have time, could you please explain why you feel it is better to use the 32 bit version instead of the 64 bit version? I tend to think "If you've got it, use it", but other favourite mantras are "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" and lyrics from a Jack Bruce song (Something to live for) Nothing but strangeness That wastes Anything it replaces Sincerely, |
