I ran the macro on my laptop using a copy of your document in post #3 with 1200 images - replicated by copying. All were processed correctly in just 2 seconds.

I just did some tests on a macbook and it seems that he refuses to complete the whole document
When I have a document with 39 pages full of image it goes well until page 29 When I have a document with 19 pages it goes well until page 15 When I have a document with 9 pages it goes well until page 8. On a windows pc I don't have any problem with a large document. Only on mac
