Hi all.
I create macros for Word, and CorelDraw, but I’m limited to what I can record or find online. Can anyone recommend a starting point to learn the basics of VBA. The only books that get recommended tend to be for VBA for Excel, something I don’t use. I know the basic language is the same, but would learning for Excel be useful for Word, and CorelDraw? In the past I’ve been told to just use the web as a source, but all the information here requires a degree of basic knowledge. Also, the posters here are very helpful, but the CorelDraw forums include a lot of coders who sell their macros and tend to be more guarded with advice. Hence, I want to try and learn some basics for myself. Any advice where to start would be appreciated. Sark |

VB & VBA in a Nutshell by O'Reilly gives good coverage of VBA only and the now obsolete VB6. Useful for its summary of 'gotchas'.
I take it you are aware that in the VBA IDE pressing F1 on anykeyword brings up the MS help on that item. |
