I just got Office 2016 after moving from Office 2010 and don't like the new look, especially the Recent Files icon, that when on the QAT, looks like a folder with a squished bug on it. So, I wanted to roll my own. I've got everything set up, but for the life of me I can't find the VBA that will show the Recent Files in the Backstage.
My other idea was to change the icon myself, but apparently, when you use one of the built ins in the XML to program the QAT, i.e., idMso="FileOpenRecentFile", you can't change the icon. Does anyone know VBA that would give me the same result as using the idMso="FileOpenRecentFile" or know how to change its icon? Thanks, Stuart |
