I have a Word document that contains tables, each of which has a caption, or title, above it. Each title is unique to the table below it. I am able to sort the tables based on a numeric value in one of the cells. But I don't know how to sort the tables together with their titles.
Is there a way to associate a table with a specific paragraph so they can be sorted together? Can you please suggest a different way to go about it? Thanks. |

I figured it out.
Created a user defined type that contains two members: a table and a string. Created an array of this type and stored each table and its corresponding caption in the array elements. From there, sorting the array was straight forward. |
