Default VBA Editor Just Went Sideways

Hi, I hope someone here has seen this before. My VBA editor just went sideways for all of the Office 2016 applications (WIN7-64). I was only working in Word but Outlook, Excel are also affected so I assume PowerPoint is as well.

Symptom
- tree view gone from Project Explorer for all the Office apps. No juggling of settings seems to restore it - modules and forms are all lumped into the same list in no apparent order.
- Most of the userform code appears to be gone (except, it seems one function per form).

The projects are not corrupt. I have 100's of projects and they are all exhibiting the problem. I had to move over to an Office 2010 PC for now to keep working because a deadline is looping, but the final project must be compiled with Office 2016 apps next week.

I was not doing anything out of the ordinary when this happened. I had closed Word and on the restart when to resume working and discovered this nasty problem. Restarting the computer doesn't help.

I am hoping to a avoid a re-install of Office.

Thank you,
JW
