![]() My wife edits documents and she has people to assist her. How can we change the different editors names in track changes to one name throughout the document I think this can be done with a VB macro, but my knowledge of VB is basically nil. |

You can't. Although the Revision Author name can be retrieved with VBA, it is a read-only property.

Thanks - are you sure, there is a function on MsWord which will change the name to "Author" - I would prefer to have my wifes name. Cheers |

Being able to set the author name is one thing (and doesn't require VBA), changing it is entirely different.
