Default On Open MsgBox for use in Template sent out to colleagues to gather information

I have limited VBA skills. I have created an MS Word form that I want to send out to gather information. Editing on the form is restricted so data can only be entered in the fields. The form is saved as a Word Macro-Enabled Template (.dotm) as I want to have a simple message box pop-up on open to instruct the user how to use the form. I can create the VBA and run this on demand to show the message box but I can't work out how to automate this. When the recipient open the form I would like the message to display. I also need to know how to 'manage' the macro warning that will undoubtedly pop up on the user's screen.

Windows 7 64bit SP1
Office 2013 Professional

All advice gratefully received - thanks.
