How do I add a button to my Word document, or clickable text (which might look nicer) so that when the user clicks on it their email client opens up and the To field is populated? I don't want to just put the email address there in the document.

Whose e-mail address is to be used? Is the user sending it to himself? A Hyperlink should do the job.

It's our email address, but I don't want to put a hyperlink there. My task is to hide the actual email address text in the document. Sorry if this sounds newbie.

You asked for 'clickable text' as a preference. That's what a hyperlink is. You can display any text and the e-mail address is hidden.
