Hello, I am a new teacher and I am trying to learn how to use my school's outdated systems. I have to convert some files into csv in order to upload them for online testing.
The following is a sample the data I have: 43. Which of the following? A) Answer A B) Answer B *C) Answer C D) Answer D Where * denotes the correct answer. I need to create a two column csv. First column, Question with possible answers. Second Column, Answer only. I have included a sample of what the questions look like. As far as I can tell, there are no tables to deal with. If all the questions and answers are to go into the same column, presumably they'd be on different rows. For any given question, which row does the correct answer go in.
FWIW, for data processing you'd usually have the questions and answers arranged so they're all on one row, for example: Q#,Question,Correct,Answer A,Answer B,Answer C,Answer D 43,Which of the following?,C,Answer,Answer,Answer,Answer 44,Which of the following?,A,Answer,Answer,Answer,Answer Your thread title also refers to a desire 'to bold specific lines and Macro to turn into CSV'. Please note that CSV files don't support formatting of any kind - there are plain text files.
