Your description suggests you're not working with Word templates but with Word documents, constructed as forms, and having certain fields in common. I very much doubt that a macro exists for transferring data when the fields and their titles differ. Indeed, as yet you haven't even told us what kinds of 'fields' you're referring to (eg formfields, DOCPROPERTY fields, content controls, etc) or how the titles are related to them.
