Hi all,
I would like to know if it is possible to add a new paragraph in word if in excel a second cell has text or a value in it. Letīs say I have a order (word doc) that takes data linked in excel. If I have 2 cells in excel filled with data, that would show up in word one above the other, if there is only one cell, then only one data. This way when there is more data, the lines move down to accommodate more if necessary (see below example): (one line of text) text text text text. Order nr: 1234 Text text text text. (two lines of text) Text text text text. Order nr: 1234 Order nr: 2345 Text text text text. If some one can help me out on the right track, would be great. Greetings, megatronixs |

Hi megatronixs,
If you name the range in Excel, and modify the LINK field in Word to reference the range name, then any changes to the named range in Excel will be reflected in Word. However, if you want to add text between the Excel rows, you'd either have to do that in Excel, or have separate linked ranges - one for each set of rows.
