Hi,

Try something along the following lines:

Sub Demo()
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
With Selection.InlineShapes(1).Borders
  .OutsideLineStyle = wdLineStyleThickThinSmallGap
  .OutsideLineWidth = wdLineWidth450pt
End With
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub

Note the 'wdLineWidth450pt' setting. This is the nearest to your 4pt spec. Word has numerous other LineWidth constants, ranging from to 025pt (0.25pt) to 600pt (6pt).
