I am trying to create flash cards using Word 2007 to study for a class. The front of the card will have a question and the back will have the answer. I would like a page number on the front of each card in the footer section, that is, every other card would be numbered and I've set up 'different footer every other page'. My problem is that the cards are numbered 1,3,5, etc. How do I make Word ignore the 'answer side' in its page numbering scheme so that the cards are numbered 1,2,3...?
Thanks in advance for any insight you might! |

Hi PennDad,
You can use a formula field for the numbering, coded as: {=MOD({PAGE},2)*INT(({PAGE}+1)/2) \# 0;;} Note: The field brace pairs (ie '{ }') for the above example are created via Ctrl-F9 - you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message.
