Hi New Daddy,

So far as Word is concerned, the order in which macros are stored in a module is inconsequential. Indeed, I'd be annoyed if that happened to some of the code I write, as in some projects I want to group macros together by function, not by name - and in any event these macros are typically hidden from the macros dialogue. Regardless of the sort order in the vbe, visible macros appear sorted in the macros dialogue. If you want to sort them, it's a matter of manual cut & paste.
