table default font

Word 16. I'm creating tables with the Insert tab. However, the created tables have the Arial 12 font. The document default font is Calibi 12 as is my Normal style. I want the font in new tables to be Calibri 12. Why do new tables have Arial 12? How can I change the table default to Calibi 12?

Could you attach a sample document (not a screenshot) with the problem. One with an empty table would probably be sufficient.
How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum.

Check the document defaults as I suggested.

If you can't get it sorted, consider uploading a sample document, as Charles proposed.
