I would like to export from excel to word tables, but certain columns to become split in rows column.
I give here an excel (the database file) and a word (as a model of how I would like to export the data). From excel file, columns C and D should appear under same column but different rows in the word table. Is there a way (not manually, as I did it) to make this happen? Thank you! |

How are you doing the 'export'? A simple copy/paste won't produce such a result.

Depending on the approach you want to take, it could be done via a mailmerge, a DATABASE field, or a macro.

Ok. Take me as a noob. All I know, I learned on the internet. I know so little I could not understand mailmerge, database field, macro.
So, could you explain it? |

Attached is a document showing the output generated via a DATABASE field. Simply save the document to the same folder as your 'Excel data base.xlsx' workbook. If you edit & save the Excel data, clicking in the DATABASE field and pressing F9 will refresh the Word table.
