Default Deleting Blank Space between table heading and table rows

Hi,

I have a table that spans a couple of pages in Word. Can someone advise how I adjust this table to start on page 1 and finish on page 2? I can't work out why there is all this blank space on page 1 and the data rows only start on page 2. See attached couple of screen shots.

Thanks in advance!

Peter
