Deleting Blank Space between table heading and table rows
Hi,
I have a table that spans a couple of pages in Word. Can someone advise how I adjust this table to start on page 1 and finish on page 2? I can't work out why there is all this blank space on page 1 and the data rows only start on page 2. See attached couple of screen shots. Thanks in advance! Peter |

The table shifted all the text/table cells to the 2nd page because the text in the "Strengths" column exceeds the space allowed to remain on page 1. The "Weakness" column is also close to exceeding that space. One way to eliminate that move is to reduce the font size...and, you can play around to find out what best suits your needs. In doing so, you would want to reduce the font to ALL of the text in the body of the table cells so that it is constant throughout.
Another method would be to adjust/reduce the size of the select columns and widen the other columns until you get a solution that fits your needs (although it looks as though this process may not be achieved...it is kind of tight to begin with). JMO...HTHs. |

Pete another option may be to check the box in the table properties that allows rows to break across pages.
