![]()
Hello,
I'm trying to create some new table styles for our company's documents. One effect I'm trying to add into the style is a gap between the vertical border of each row. I've demonstrated the effect I'm seeking by inserting some short rows with blank borders (see screenshot)... If anyone has any ideas how to add this into a style somehow it would be greatly appreciated! |

One method might be to add three (3) additional columns to the table with minimal spacing (gap) for each of those columns (inserted as columns 2, 4 and 6 or your image). And, just to be clear, this would not be a "style" as used with formatting in Word....simply a user preference within Word.

You could achieve this by making the horizontal borders between the cells a thick white line, although it appears that 6pt is the thickest it will allow you to have. That gives you this effect:
![]() That could then be built into a table style. |
