Cursor won't stay put when working in Word Table
I have just spent two very frustrating days trying to figure out why I am having problems editing my Word Table. This after surfing for several different "solutions" to my problem, with no success.
This is what happens: 2016 MS Word, inside a table. When I try to click on a row, inside a box, or anywhere text in my document, for editing purposes, the cursor will not stick where I left-click OR right-click it. It jumps all over the pages, and will not stay where I am trying to edit. I do not think it is my mouse, which works fine in all other documents, text programs. Any advice much appreciated! |

Maybe your document has editing restrictions applied to some parts. Without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.
PS: Some of use have other things to do on weekends than wait around waiting for posts...

one page of my document
This is what one page of my word doc looks like (with table). Hope this helps.
Sorry about the earlier post, I know everyone is not sitting there waiting for my post. Just frustrated, as this issue is slowing me down a LOT. Thanks if you can help. |

As I said, we'd need to see the actual document. A PDF is useless for this purpose.
