Any way to draw lines from cell to cell?

I have a grid and I want to draw straight lines showing a path from cell to cell. The cells are diagonal, vertical, horizontal...

Diagonal lines can be accommodated via diagonal borders. Vertical & horizontal lines can be accommodated via cell splitting. If neither of those options is suitable, you can use drawing objects to create a line with whatever start/end points you desire.
