I have three tables in the image just to show that the table can still have ALL BORDER and NO BORDERS at all. The 3rd table is the main problem.

""You refer to "bottom border on 1st and 3rd only" of Table 3, but that has a bottom border on all cells.""

^Because that is the problem as I said...the 2nd cell has no borders at all but there is a white line still showing.

"""You also say "If you zoom in closely you can see the gridline for the 2nd cell" but such zooming in is not possible with your attachment, which is only an image. """

^you can actually zoom your browser....or download the image and zoom it in. You don't really need to zoom it in to see that the 2nd cell has a gridline on it. I was just trying to help out for those who can't see the gridline.

""When I add a bottom border to just columns 1 & 3 in a 3-column table, no border appears in column 2.""

^That's because you have a table that's working properly....

I have attached a page of the file with only the tables in it. If any of you guys can help tweek it and find out what the problem it, then thank you!!! I've scratched my head one too many times from trying already.
