Why are you trying to insert 12,751 rows of data into Word anyway? Word really isn't designed for such large tables and its performance will really suffer with one that big!

Depending on the tools available on the Mac, you may be able to address the column issue via the 'Distribute Columns' tool, which is supposed to make all columns the same width.
