When I update table of contents, all the links go dead!
I'm working in a long document in Word for Mac 2011 that has a TOC already created. I've modified some chapter and subhead titles, and a few sections have changed pages, so I clicked on the Update button to bring the TOC up-to-date. But after the TOC is finished updating, I can no longer click on the chapter or subhead titles to take me directly to those sections. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a simple step I can take to keep my TOC functional? Thanks! |
