Hi Everyone,
Wondering is it possible to insert a diagonal line across multiple cells of a Word Table using built-in Table Feature just as the second image below? (I inserted it by using the drawing tool instead of the built-in Word Table feature, which I consider as quite inconvenient to adjust the line to connect to the diagonal points of the table; if I use the "Diagonal Border" feature, it'd only insert a diagonal border across each cell as show in the first image) ![]() Many thanks! |

For the second version, you can simulate the effect by doubling the horizontal cell count and hiding the unwanted extra horizontal borders. You can't just have a diagonal line across the table, though, other than via the use of a line shape.
