Yes, I know about the January 2017 Microsoft support stop, but I really like WLM and Photo Gallery better than their successors "Mail" and "Photos".
I don't know about any different web site for downloading Windows Live Essentials, I have tried several different sites, including CNET, but they all seem to generate the same setup wizard. If you know of a different web site alternative... This is an image of the Windows Live Essentials 2012 setup wizard containing the list of apps with no check boxes. There is also a line above the list that says "These programs are installed". This line, however, is grayed out. WINDOWS LIVE ESSENTIALS SETUP IMAGE.png |
